Tell us about yourself.

I am Aditya Prabhu, Class 12th Passout. I am from Goa. I recently made it to the merit list of the Indian Statistical Institute, India.

I like math because of its beauty, and the way things can be solved in the most unexpected ways. I like to play chess and cricket.

How did you prepare for the ISI B.Math Entrance?

I solved questions from whichever source I could get and in general, I just tried to learn new methods of tackling a type of problem from a particular problem.

Can you suggest some books or other resources that had helped you in your preparation?

Books: Problem-solving strategies by Arthur Engel, TOMATO, Higher algebra by Hall and Knight.

YouTube channels: 3blue1brown, mathologer, mindyourdecisions, PolarPi, Numberphile.

Websites: Math Stack Exchange, Art of problem-solving.

What are you planning next?

I wish to study mathematics wherever I can.

I joined Cheenta in the last two months, so it helped me because of all the problem-solving sessions which taught me some new methods of approaching some types of questions.
