Cheenta week of Nov. 26 to Dec. 02

Every week we have a festival of beautiful mathematics, brain-boggling problems, and ecstatic ideas. Find out what is coming up this week.

Hello mathematician!

Tagore believed that education should happen in the lap of nature and community. Nevertheless, we are pushed every day toward mind-numbing competition and isolated discourse.

At Cheenta, we wish to defy all odds and ourselves to a happy and curious learning experience. We must let our imagination flower beyond usual domains of rote-learning.

This week, we have a beautiful festival of mathematics. From complex numbers to duality, from diophantine equations to stirling numbers, we are just getting started.

Keep your mind free from boring thoughts of ‘competition’. Innovation and creativity requires a revolution beyond these trivial elements. Hope to see you in class, in a free spirit of exploration.

Program Description

I.S.I. & C.M.I Entrance Program

Topic: Limits of Functions

Description: One of the fundamental concepts in mathematics, meaning that a variable depending on another variable arbitrary closely approaches some constant as the latter variable changes in a definite manner. In the definition of a limit, the concept of nearness of the objects under consideration plays a fundamental role: only after a definition of nearness does a limit acquire an exact meaning.
